Wagners is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Wellcamp Quarry team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of both the fixed and mobile plant equipment at our Quarry.
About The Role
Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday – 12hr shifts starting at 5am.
Flat rate of $48.07 p/hr.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the fixed and mobile plant equipment is kept in a safe working condition.
* Carry out planned maintenance, repair incidental faults and attend to break downs.
* Perform troubleshooting and fault finding on equipment when required.
* Ensure adequate preventative maintenance stock levels are maintained on site.
* Ensure breakdowns and preventative maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
* Liaise closely with operators, managers, and supervisors to ensure all preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are completed in a timely manner.
* Provide assistance to other areas of the business as and when required.
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, Boilermaker or Fitter and Turner (desirable).
* Construction Safety Induction Card.
* Sound knowledge and experience in Quarry and Mining Equipment.
* Knowledge and experience in Crushing Plant maintenance.
* Analytical and strong attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently, within a team and independently.
* Pass a pre‑employment medical including a drug and alcohol testing.
* Undergo a National Police Check.
* Provide 2 work‑related references including one professional/supervisor.
