THE ROLE
You will be part of our growing team, responsible for inventory management. This important role ensures inventory is ordered, stock levels are maintained and stock is accounted for. The Inventory Manager works closely with the Logistics Manager to manage the import, warehousing and dispatch for the ULA Group's world-renowned stable of LED screens, film and entertainment lighting products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working closely with national sales team to prepare inventory forecasting for the purchasing team (to prevent overstocking and running out of stock)
* Working closely with the logistics and purchasing departments to establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to enable timely procurement of products
* Working closely with Warehouse and Service Departments to ensure required products are readily available
* Product costing and accurately entering data into Oracle NetSuite
* Monitoring and maintaining adequate stock levels in local warehouses within Australia
* Stock reports including inventory turnover, inventory performance, costing and price lists
* Maintaining the inventory management process and identifying potential improvements
* Creating and maintaining product listings in the NetSuite ERP system
* Monitoring and reporting on the performance of freight forwarders
* Liaise with other Departments to ensure smooth running of Operations
* Overseeing annual stock take and cyclical counting for all our warehouses
* Maintaining accurate inventory reporting
* Ad hoc stock related tasks
ABOUT YOU
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
* Proven experience in managing inventory
* Expert in Inventory Management Software and experience with Oracle Netsuite essential
* Proficient MS Office skills, advanced knowledge of Excel
* Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands & timelines
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
* Attention to detail
* Analysis and forecasting
