About the Role
Within this NSW Government Agency, you will be a key player tackling day-to-day issues with finesse, ensuring seamless operations and timely resolutions. You'll dive into the depths of data, navigating through various sources to maintain integrity and consistency, all while uncovering trends to drive informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and resolving day-to-day support issues related to existing digital business systems
- Tracking incidents and support requests to timely resolution
- Liaising with internal and external support providers
- Assisting in systems development projects: requirements gathering, testing, and implementation planning
- Reporting and analyzing support metrics
- Participating in user acceptance testing and assisting with issue management for new initiatives
- Contributing to programs supporting sustainable business systems
- Conducting data quality reviews and implementing improvement initiatives
- Developing and delivering training for internal system users
Key Challenges
- Interpreting and reconciling large volumes of data from various sources
- Providing support in a complex legislative and policy environment
- Driving effective business intelligence in a reform-focused setting
About You
- Robust understanding of reporting and data analysis
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in test strategies, plans, and execution
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues with support providers
