Operations & Maintenance Role in Queensland
We are seeking highly motivated professionals to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Queensland.
About the Position
* Site Manager – responsible for day-to-day operations of renewable energy sites, ensuring compliance with all site and business safety requirements.
* Electrical Technician – performs routine and advanced maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faulty components.
Key Responsibilities of Site Manager
* Manage and lead a safety culture towards zero harm; interface with clients and stakeholders on coordination of activities and required documentation.
* Supervise technicians and contractors; ensure compliance with WHSE requirements, oversee operational and technical project management.
* Prepare reports for stakeholders, manage subcontractors and procurement.
Required Experience and Qualifications of Site Manager
* Minimum 2 years of Operations & Maintenance experience on utility-scale solar or renewable projects.
* Experience in a Site Manager role is highly desirable, requiring an Electrical qualification (Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics preferred).
* LVR/CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities of Electrical Technician
* Perform routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems, developing and implementing maintenance SOPs.
* Diagnose and resolve complex issues, repairing or replacing faulty components as needed; lead and mentor junior technicians.
* Assist with installation of new systems and equipment, respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Required Experience and Qualifications of Electrical Technician
* Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.
* Valid QLD electrical supervisors or contractor's licence, valid driver's licence.
* LVR/CPR current certificate, First Aid current certificate.
