The opportunity IFYS has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Affairs Assistant to join the team to provide efficient and effective administration support across a range of areas of IFYS.
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, this position plays a pivotal part in keeping our operations running smoothly. From responding to incoming enquiries and data entry tasks through to contractual reporting obligations, ensuring that the requirements are met with precision and timeliness.

Responsibilities of the role
Facilitate and provide quality, timely and efficient communication, written and verbal, to The OMD, including internal and external stakeholders
Organise and co-ordinate meetings and appointments including diary entries and travel arrangements as required
Collate, format, edit, proof and administer spreadsheets, registers, documents, draft plans and other documentation for internal and external distribution
Assist in collating and the collection of relevant data and evidence, in regard to the various legislative requirements
Provide administrative support for Redress, Request for Information, PIPA Claims and other works
Monitor and manage assigned email inboxes and action as appropriate
Manage financial reconciliation of credit cards for The OMD and CAM
To be successful in this role you will possess
Demonstrated experience in a similar Assistant or Administrative role
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
A high level of confidentiality, integrity and awareness of sensitive information
Sounds knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Advanced time management skills with an exceptional ability to prioritise a diverse workload
Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful
Valid Queensland Driver's License with no restrictions, and own reliable transport
Queensland Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
Licensed Care Service Suitability Check (LCS2)
Ability to provide two references from recent employers (including your current line manager)
National Criminal History Check (a new check will be conducted through IFYS systems)
