We are hiring immediately Credit Controller - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.
Purpose:
Manages or performs work in some/all of the following areas:
- Researching credit history.
- Collection and maintenance of customer accounts.
- Follow-up correspondence, resolution and escalation of overdue accounts.
- Credit Card processing
- Allocation of payment when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures collections activity and customer data is correctly recorded and updated on the system.
- Assist with bad debt management and write-off reporting.
- Monitor and be proactive with customer accounts to ensure trade within terms.
- Accurately maintain records of customer contacts and accounts.
- Record queries.
- Participate in weekly debtor conference calls.
- Support with opening new accounts and review of existing customers.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of working experience in an AR Role.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet assigned timelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with the rest to achieve team goals.
- Comfortable working with internal & external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic to Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of Salesforce will be an added advantage.
