About the role
This full-time Solar Electrician role at Evans Solar & Electrical offers the unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of renewable energy. Based in Caloundra, Queensland, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar power systems, ensuring efficient and reliable solar energy solutions for our clients. As a Solar Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting Evans Solar & Electrical's mission to drive the transition to a sustainable energy future.
What you'll be doing
1. Conducting site assessments for residential clients
2. Installing, testing and commissioning new solar energy systems
3. Performing scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar installations
4. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
5. Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest solar technologies, industry regulations and best practices
What we're looking for
1. A qualified electrician with a minimum of 1 year experience in the solar industry
2. Strong technical skills and a keen interest in renewable energy technologies
3. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
4. Customer service-oriented with exceptional communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
6. Knowledge of relevant electrical and safety standards and regulations
7. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to job sites as required
