We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Demolition Labourer/Asbestos Removalist to join our team at AJ Demolito' in our Adelaide, SA office. This is a casual role with the potential for ongoing work. As a Demolition Labourer, you will play a vital part in the successful and safe demolition of residential properties. What you'll be doing
1. Safely handle and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials
2. Operate demolition equipment and machinery in a responsible manner
3. Assist in the dismantling of structures, including the removal of fixtures, fittings, and debris
4. Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures
5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
6. Participate in site preparation and clean-up activities
7. Work effectively as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a demolition labourer or asbestos removalist
2. Demonstrated understanding of demolition and asbestos removal processes and safety protocols
3. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
5. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
6. Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions
7. Valid driver's licence
8. Class B asbestos removal licence required
9. Australian work rights required at start date
10. Construction Induction (White Card) required
