About the role
We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker - Installer to join our dynamic team at Advance Kitchens Pty Ltd in Caloundra West, Queensland. As a full-time Cabinetmaker - Installer, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of high-quality kitchen cabinets and furniture for our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricate and assemble cabinet components according to detailed plans and specifications
* Provide skilled installation of cabinets, countertops, and other related fixtures in customer homes
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure the final product meets customer requirements
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to strict safety protocols
* Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues promptly and efficiently
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Cabinetmaking or a related trade
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cabinetmaker or Installer, preferably in the kitchen and bathroom industry
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery commonly used in cabinetmaking
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
* Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
* Professional, reliable and trustworthy
* Physically capable, as the role requires lifting
* Able to work independently
