Overview
Outstanding opportunity to join a Tier 2 contractor with excellent presence in the water, civil, industrial and commercial sectors with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects. A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Coordinator to join their growing business. They work across construction and remediation type projects which are generally Water, Civil, Industrial, Commercial or Defence in nature, and the projects you will be working on are up to $10m+; however, the wider business delivers jobs $50m to $100m+.
The projects you will be delivering will be SMP (structural, mechanical, piping) projects and ideally having some water sector experience. Experience across fuel, water or gas type projects from $1m to $10m and familiarity with ITPs would be great. We are looking at candidates ideally from a civil background with 2 to 5 years’ experience, a good can-do attitude, and a desire to progress their career.

Responsibilities
- Project delivery from inception through to completion
- Ensure construction programmes are followed and deliver on project quality to programme
- Identify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when required
- Manage project expenditure and cash flow
- Management and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projects
- Design management
- Manage subcontractors on site
- Manage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the project
- Produce progress reports
- Deliver and manage client expectations
Qualifications and Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience delivering projects from start to finish, ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 background
- Strong planning and project financial reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Construction Safety Induction (white) card
- Australian Citizenship
