Reporting to the New Product Development Manager, this role focuses on setting up and coordinating product introductions into production sites, managing timelines, artwork approvals, and information flow between internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. You will compile detailed cost sheets for FMCG products using existing templates for finance and operations, then submit these for customer negotiations.New products include complex projects using new technologies, development of new brands, range extensions, and relaunches. Pact manufactures FMCG products such as personal care, homecare, industrial, and aerosols across multiple sites and packaging formats.Your key responsibilities will be to:Coordinate new product introductions and change management.Ensure adherence to project timelines.Identify business or supply risks, ensuring project DIFOT.Interpret customer briefs.Work towards customer cost targets, communicate compromises.Determine packaging requirements, source materials.Identify cost-saving opportunities.Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding launches, packaging, and specifications.Create and analyze product costings, liaising with relevant teams, and presenting for approval.Coordinate product run-in and run-out activities.Schedule and lead project meetings, communicate critical timelines.Set up materials, BOMs, and pricing in SAP, maintain data.Resolve packaging or efficiency issues, lead problem-solving efforts.Assist with documentation and specifications for Quality.Work with operations to meet first-run targets.Follow OHS and safety procedures.Contribute to departmental and company objectives.Your skills and experience:Attention to detail, experience delivering to briefs.Experience in dynamic environments and tight timelines.Strong SAP and Excel skills.Ability to work independently.Effective communication skills.Process development and improvement experience.Experience in packaging or contract manufacturing sectors.
