Pool Facility Coordinator

The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a vibrant aquatic facility, ensuring safety and exceptional customer service standards. You will be responsible for supervising a diverse team of staff members and leading various programs to foster engagement and progression. Additionally, you will manage budgets and operational planning while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility presentation.


About the Role

* Leading and managing all pool operations to ensure compliance and excellent service standards
* Supervising and developing a dynamic team across customer service, swim instructors, and lifeguards
* Maintaining high teaching standards in in-water programs from infants to squads, promoting a culture of excellence
* Engaging with families on the pool deck and driving community participation through innovative programs and events
* Managing budgets and operational planning to achieve business objectives
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and overall facility presentation


About You

* Proven experience in facility management, recreation, or similar industries
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends during peak periods
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with a hands-on approach
* Excellent organisational and communication skills to drive results and build relationships
* Passion for delivering exceptional experiences for customers and the community

Requirements

* Paid Blue Card certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Qualifications in Pool Lifeguarding, CPR, Swim Teaching, and Aquatic Technical Officer roles
