About the role
We're seeking an AEM Developer to design, develop, and enhance our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms that power Transurban's digital presence over web.
You'll join an innovative Digital Web Services team that embraces collaboration, continuous improvement, and modern engineering practices to deliver impactful digital solutions.

Day-to-day, you will:
* Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and integrations aligned with Transurban and AEMaaCS standards.
* Deliver high-quality software through Agile and DevOps methodologies, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery.
* Collaborate with business and technology teams to assess impacts, clarify requirements, and implement solutions.
* Diagnose and resolve system issues to meet service levels, engaging with security and third-party vendors as needed.
* Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements across the digital engineering function.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
* Strong hands-on experience with working on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and also working on AEM as a headless CMS.
* Strong technical expertise in AEM, including JCR API, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Touch UI dialogs.
* Strong experience in Java and JUnit testing framework.
* Experience integrating AEM with RESTful APIs and cloud components such as AWS.
* Proficiency with DevOps tools and experience in creating, managing and troubleshooting DevOps configurations and pipelines in Cloud Manager (using Webhooks etc.)
* Solid understanding of Java and experience with the React JavaScript framework.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
