The Business Analyst will primarily work on the Customer Relationship Management system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business needs, analysing processes, and providing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that project objectives align with business goals. The Business Analyst will also be expected to take on the Product Owner role of the platform and manage and deliver the backlog.
In addition, as part of our dynamic Digital team, the Business Analyst will actively contribute to the enhancement of existing digital services and support the execution of various projects and programs. They will be responsible for designing, testing, and evaluating solutions to ensure that both stakeholder and agency requirements are met.
Key accountabilities
* Working closely with business stakeholders, understanding, discovering, defining, validating, prioritising and continuously managing business and customer requirements.
* Translating business needs into clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
* Synthesising business and technical requirements and concepts and presenting them in clear and straightforward terms.
* Providing input during the design phase, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals.
* Facilitating workshops and perform business analysis activities including business process modelling, business and solution requirements lifecycle management, and data modelling.
* Produce clear and structured artefacts including business process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and current/future state documentation.
* Working with an outcome focus, demonstrating an ability to effectively challenge the business while retaining a customer focus.
* Continuously monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
* Assist business units in understanding change impacts and support end-user readiness activities.
* Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and requirements.
* Participate in sprint planning, UAT preparation and execution, change impact assessments, and training coordination.
