Overview Intermediary Relationship Manager, State Street Investment Management, Vice President IIPay information not disclosed by advertiserApplyWho we are looking forThis role is a fantastic opportunity to join the talented and dynamic State Street Investment Management Intermediary Client Coverage Team.In this role, your key mission would be to develop and implement strategies to drive sales of locally domiciled SPDR ETFs, unlisted managed funds and the State Street ETF model portfolios across our key client segments: Financial Intermediaries including and not limited to financial advisers, IFAs, brokers, private wealth managers, private banks, family offices and asset managers.
In this context you will be partnering with our local marketing and strategy teams to maximise our efforts.This is a great opportunity to operate in a team friendly environment where you would work collaboratively to promote our range of ETFs and managed funds in Australia.

As pioneers in index, ETF, and ESG investing, we are always inventing new ways to invest.Join us if making your mark in the asset management industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible for As Intermediary Relationship Manager VP II, you willDevelop and execute strategies to drive sales of locally domiciled ETFs, unlisted managed funds and the State Street ETF model portfolios across key client groups within the Financial Intermediaries segmentBuild and maintain a book of business with key clientsIdentify and anticipate client requirements, expectations and needsClearly communicate SPDR ETFs and fund investment ideas and research to clients and prospectsExecute sales campaigns and dynamically involve clients on major State Street Investment Management initiatives (seminars, events, surveys) while promoting excellent and positive teamwork and culture at all timesCollaborate with the Product Team to provide input into new product ideas/product enhancementsPartner closely with the marketing team to design, elaborate and execute sales strategiesRemain abreast of industry and product trends (including competitive analysis) to ensure SSGA and SPDR is strongly positioned in the Australian marketWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleSuccessful Sales track record (ideally with ETFs) and advanced client relationship management skillsStrong knowledge and understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation including SAA and TAAStrong business instincts, good judgment and creative mind-setDemonstrated ability to provide fresh insights and new ways of approaching issues based on past experiences, a global perspective, and well-articulated facts and reasoningConfirmed dedication to risk, compliance, governance and regulation policies and proceduresStrong analytical skills and ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities to meet deadlinesAbility to build positive relationships with internal and external clientsWillingness to assume responsibility and take ownership of tasks assignedEducation & Preferred QualificationsStrong client-facing skills with investment experience in the asset management industry, (preferably ETFs) for part or all financial services careerHas operated at a mid-level in strategic sales, marketing and client relationship management for an extended period of time i.e. 8-10 years plusUnderstands the range of Intermediary market segments and brings knowledge and relationships across investment platforms and investmentsConfirmed ability to develop and execute successfully on strategic sales plans through one on one and one to many activitiesConfirmed client relationships and experience in developing strong relationships across client segments – ideally in Victoria regionAbility to manage key business metrics and targets (activity, asset gathering/ retention targets) plus track record to demonstrate sustained successDegree qualified or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferredAdditional requirementsWhat we need you to be/ possess:Strong communication and leadership skillsConfident, enthusiastic and solution-oriented mind-setStrong technical ability with investment industry knowledgeAbility to work well within a team with strong organisational skillsPositive, entrepreneurial and can-do attitudeWillingness to roll up sleeves and navigate complexityAligned with State Street\'s culture of corporate citizenshipDesire to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and for an equal opportunity employerAbout State StreetWhat we do.
