About the roleJoin the Community Accommodation & Support Agency Inc team as a casual Support Worker based in Mackay, Queensland.
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them to live independently and participate actively in their community.What you'll be doingAssist clients with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming.Support clients with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and running errands.Support clients with maintaining a hygienic home environment by providing cleaning services.Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote clients' wellbeing and community engagement.Advocate for clients' rights and needs, and liaise with families, carers, and other professionals.Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures.Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery by providing feedback and participating in team meetings.What we're looking forA passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in their lives.Experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care or disability support sector.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.A current driver's licence and own transport with full comprehensive insurance.A strong understanding of the NDIS and relevant legislation and policies or willingness to learn.What we offerAt Community Accommodation & Support Agency Inc, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
