BONIIK / BGL Management is the definitive authority on K-Beauty in Australia. For over a decade, we have pioneered the distribution of global cult-favourite brands, including COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Medcube, SKIN1004, TITRITR, and many more.
Our operations support a massive national footprint. In addition to our own retail boutiques and e-commerce platform, we are a strategic partner to Australia's retail giants, including Myer, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Big W, Kmart, Target, etc. We are seeking a sophisticated Operations Manager to oversee the complex supply chain, data systems, and human capital required to sustain this growth.
Core Pillars of Responsibility
1. Supply Chain & Distribution Management
* Import/Export Oversight: Lead the end-to-end international procurement process, managing complex logistics timelines from South Korea to Australia.
* Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary liaison with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure a seamless flow of goods.
* Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all regulatory requirements for beauty and healthcare imports are met, maintaining impeccable records for all shipments.
* OPEX Optimization: Rigorously monitor operating costs, identifying opportunities for savings through vendor negotiations and process refinements.
* Budgetary Control: Manage quotes, logistics pricing, and purchase requests to protect company margins and ensure spend aligns with business goals.
* Audit & Reporting: Regularly review run-sheets, invoices, and financial data to ensure total accuracy in operational spend.
* Workforce Planning: Manage staffing levels across the business, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and the development of high-performing teams.
* Performance & Culture: Drive engagement by coaching and mentoring team members, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* HR Administration: Monitor payroll accuracy, manage employment contracts, and ensure compliance with Australian Fair Work standards and leave entitlements.
4. System Data Management & ERP Integrity
* Data Custodianship: Maintain the integrity of our ERP and E-commerce platforms, ensuring all SKU data, pricing, and stock records are 100% accurate.
* Operational Analytics: Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track KPIs, identifying trends that help the business scale effectively.
* Digital Transformation: Identify and implement system improvements or automations to replace manual workflows and eliminate data silos.
About You
* Experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive experience in a multi-channel operational environment (Retail/Wholesale/E-commerce).
* Systems Thinker: You are highly proficient in ERP systems and Excel. You enjoy "cleaning" data and setting up systems that prevent errors.
* Strategic Leader: You have a proven ability to lead a diverse workforce with a focus on empathy, professional development, and result-oriented leadership.
* Meticulous Detail: You have a "detective's eye" for spotting inefficiencies in a budget or a supply chain workflow.
* Industry Interest: Knowledge of the beauty and healthcare sector is highly desired.
