PLG venue, Sugar Gum in Hillside is looking for an experienced Casual Commis Chef with a real passion for food and hospitality.
What will my duties include?
* Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards
* Work in conjunction with Head Chef and kitchen team to develop and implement seasonal menus as required
* Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service time in the allocated section
* Ensure food and safety procedures are being followed
What are we looking for?
* Cert 3 or 4 commercial cookers or equivalent
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Experience with kitchen operations and functions and ability to cook a broad range of food items
