Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring their Portfolio of assets (mostly retail) are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
* Follow and support the development of an existing to comprehensive facilities management plan
* Manage all aspects of facility maintenance per asset agreement, which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
* Manage existing vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies
* Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet their needs
* Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
* Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Preferred Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
