BlueCare is embarking on an exciting transformation to strengthen the provision of quality nursing care in the community setting. As part of our clinical nursing team, you will focus on providing nursing care and leadership, supporting and guiding other care staff to promote quality of life, enabling individuals to maintain independence in their homes.
Your part in our Clinical Team
As a Clinical Nurse, you will have a client portfolio and the opportunity to lead and inspire the frontline clinical team through guidance and mentorship. The role emphasizes effective decision-making and clinical experience, allowing you to provide exceptional care while handling clinical nursing issues and concerns.
Client Care Responsibilities
* Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
* Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
* Assisting with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
* Supporting the service to meet all accreditation standards
What Makes a Difference For Us
You will be an experienced clinician with considerable experience within an acute or aged care environment. You will advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
* Current AHPRA registration
* Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience
* Ability to liaise with the care team and provide coordinated careConfidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with leadership, support and mentorship roles
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
