About The Role
As the ICT Coordinator, you will oversee and manage all ICT-related activities within the facility, ensuring the effective and secure operation of systems and providing technical support to staff and transferees. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining system functionality, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring all ICT operations run smoothly and in compliance with company standards. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, training, and supporting staff, as well as developing and maintaining ICT-related documentation and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the facility’s ICT systems, ensuring they are functioning securely and efficiently.
- Provide technical support and training for systems, networks, and software applications to staff and transferees.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, including printers, network switches, and other devices.
- Monitor system and network performance, ensuring issues are quickly identified and resolved.
- Act as a liaison between end users and higher-level support teams to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver procedures, and reference guides to ensure the smooth operation of systems and compliance with company standards.
Key Requirements
- Hold relevant qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields (such as a diploma or industry certifications).
- Robust interpersonal skills and a calm, supportive approach
- Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations (desirable)
- First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
