Our focus is on delivering safe, efficient, and innovative solutions tailored to client needs. Position Summary We are seeking multiple qualified Electricians to join our growing team in Melbourne, VIC, Queanbeyan, NSW and Canberra, ACT.
The successful candidates will support the technical operations of a wide range of commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects. Key Duties and Responsibilities Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring systems, power circuits and control systems.
Installing switchboards, distribution boards, circuit breakers, protective devices and associated equipment. Connecting electrical wiring to fixtures such as switches, power outlets, lighting systems and appliances. Installing conduits, cable trays and electrical cabling in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Interpreting electrical plans, diagrams and specifications to determine installation procedures. Testing electrical installations and equipment for correct operation and safety compliance. Conducting insulation resistance, polarity, earth continuity and RCD testing in line with AS/NZS 3000.
Diagnosing faults in electrical systems and equipment using appropriate testing devices. Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, switches, relays, circuit breakers and other electrical components. Performing routine servicing and preventative maintenance of electrical systems.
Upgrading existing installations to meet current safety and compliance standards where required. Ensuring all work complies with the Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000), National Construction Code and workplace safety regulations. Isolating electrical systems and applying safe work procedures prior to commencing repairs or maintenance.
Maintaining records of work completed and materials used. Liaising with site supervisors, contractors and clients regarding electrical works and compliance requirements. Skills and Experience Required
Must be a qualified electrician as per Australian standards At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and testing. Solid understanding of electrical safety regulations
Experience using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and oscilloscopes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and reporting skills. Current unrestricted driver’s licence (preferred). White Card and relevant electrical safety certificates (preferred).
