First Nations Cultural Programs Manager
This role is based in Darwin and will see you working to deliver, support and mentor culturally responsive programs to support the delivery of our Reconciliation Action Plan. You will work with the Regional Manager and support a small team of Cultural Specialists who provide mentoring and guidance within our aged care facilities.
Key aspects of this role include:
1. Advocating and promoting First Nations programs within a healthcare environment.
2. Managing budgets and staff, while ensuring compliance with government funding models and regulations.
3. Providing guidance and support to Cultural Specialists to ensure effective program delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:
For consideration, we are seeking individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, hold a tertiary qualification in Community Services or a similar discipline, and have proven experience in a similar organizational role with demonstrated growth and business outcomes.
Additional qualifications and skills include:
1. Experience in coordination, sourcing, management, and implementation of Indigenous Employment Programs.
2. Ability to reflect on own performance and seek guidance when required.
3. Ability to problem-solve and use initiative to maximize positive outcomes.
