THE ROLE
* Providing prompt and effective light vehicle maintenance support to our underground gold mines
* Evaluate vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose problems
* Review vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
* Carry out regular maintenance activities to improve vehicle performance and lifespan
* Adequately adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations
* Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
What Do i Need
* Current \"C\" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence
* Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
* Experience within a mining or heavy industry environment
* Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
* Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
* Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
* Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
* Solid problem‐solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
* Excellent communication skills with a can‐do, team‐oriented attitude
* Strong desire to maintain and promote a proactive safe working environment
