Team Leader Family Violence Services
As a Team Leader in our Family Violence Services department, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialist family violence support practitioners and program support workers. Your role will involve delivering a trauma-informed service to adults and children who have experienced family violence.
* Promote evidence-based strategies to mitigate risk and support healing and recovery for adult and child victim survivors.
* Provide guidance and leadership to family violence practitioners and program support workers, recognising individual strengths and development needs.
The successful candidate will oversee emergency accommodation and refuge operations, including staffing and infrastructure, and ensure properties are maintained and filled. This role requires the ability to work at different sites within Bayside Peninsula.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing guidance and leadership to family violence practitioners and program support workers
* Oversight of emergency accommodation and refuge operations
* Ensuring high-quality services through evidence informed approaches
* Mentoring and supervision of staff
* Building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field meeting Rec209 Mandatory Qualification requirement
* Experience working in family violence sector
* Leadership experience and knowledge of impacts of family violence
