We have 1,000 talented team members across Australia.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleOne Harvest is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our Site Leadership team in Wacol, Brisbane. Reporting to the National Logistics Manager, you will lead the logistics team to meet performance targets, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support our customer service goals of delivering in full, on time, and fresh (DIFFOT) through operational excellence.At Wacol, we operate in a fast-paced environment with compressed order lead times, limited product shelf life, and cold storage, requiring quick decision-making and data analysis.Embed and promote our Zero Harm and Food Safety visions within logistics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Provide effective leadership to enhance team performance and skills aligned with business goals.Manage inbound and outbound transport schedules within budget, controlling inventory accuracy.Implement best practices in systems, processes, and plant improvements.Improve KPIs related to freight utilization, distribution, inventory, and equipment control.Collaborate with stakeholders such as Operations and Produce Supply to identify improvement opportunities.Plan proactively for volume increases during peak periods.Manage relationships internally and externally.About youMinimum 5 years of management experience in logistics and supply chain, preferably in FMCG with short shelf life.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Science, or Engineering are advantageous.Experience managing automated warehouse systems, including robotics and automated racking.Experience leading WMS system implementations and transitioning legacy data.Proven ability to manage change and drive improvements.Strong IT skills, including WMS and TMS systems.Strong business acumen.What we are proud ofWith over 25 years in the industry, One Harvest leads in the Fresh Food/FMCG sector, providing fresher, healthier foods to supermarkets and green grocers nationwide.Our mission is to help people live better lives with accessible, healthier foods.BelongingWe are committed to an inclusive, equal opportunity workplace that values diversity and fosters innovation.
