This is a rare and excellent opportunity for an experienced PM to take a lead role as a Design Manager/ Pre-Construction Manager to join a respected business.
**The company** has been in operation for 30 years and has built a solid reputation for delivering D&C; commercial/ industrial projects with values to $30m.
**This role** is a newly created role to essentially free up some time for their Estimating Manager and Construction Manager.
The role will see you:
- Overseeing internal and external consultants, Design Documentation, Coordination with Architects, Engineers and Consultants
- Liaising with the client to ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability.
- Ensure compliance of the project design products with the Design Procedure.
- Dealing with town planners
**About you**:
To be successful you will:
- Ideally have experience as a Project Manager with a local principal contractor.
- Have solid D&C; project experience.
- Have commercial/ industrial project experience.
- Have a creative and solutions focused mindset.
