About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join our dynamic team. This role will be based in Brisbane, and the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to develop strategic, data-driven marketing plans.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and Implement Comprehensive Sales and Marketing Strategies: The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
* Oversee Sales and Marketing Team: They will oversee the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to drive high performance.
* Cultivate and Maintain Strong Relationships: The ideal candidate will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and industry partners.
* Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activity: They will analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
* Manage PR Efforts and CSR Strategy: The successful candidate will manage the hotel's PR efforts, CSR strategy, digital and social media presence, ensuring effective online marketing and brand visibility.
* Collaborate with Hotel Management Team: They will collaborate with the hotel management team to align sales and marketing initiatives with the overall business objectives.
* Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Best Practices: The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement innovative sales and marketing tactics.


Qualifications/Experience:

* Extensive Experience in Sales & Marketing: The successful candidate will have extensive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry.
* Proven Track Record: They will have a proven track record of successfully leading sales and marketing teams to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
* Strong Understanding of Competitive Landscape: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to develop strategic, data-driven marketing plans.
* Excellent Communication Skills: They will have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Proficient in Digital Marketing Tools: The successful candidate will be proficient in digital marketing, social media, and web-based analytics tools.
* Highly Organized: They will be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
