Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Oversee a Team of Supervisors / Estimators and Contract Administrators and provide support on multiple construction projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
· Coordinate with Insurance companies, Loss Adjusters, Brokers and property owners.
· Assist to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality benchmarks and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
· Lead and manage a team of site supervisors, subcontractors, and construction workers, fostering collaboration and productivity.
· Provide clear communication and direction to all team members to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects.
· Resolve on-site challenges and disputes effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
· Act as the primary point of contact between the insurance builder, clients, and other stakeholders.
· Ensure regular updates and transparency regarding project progress, addressing any concerns or issues proactively.
· Work closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Risk Management and Compliance
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, including safety hazards and financial constraints.
· Ensure strict adherence to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards and guidelines.
· Maintain compliance with South East Queensland's building regulations and insurance industry standards.
Requirements
Education and Experience
· A degree or diploma in Construction Management, or a related field. Hold a QBCC Supervisor's Open license.
· Proven experience in construction management, particularly in the insurance building sector.
· Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and insurance industry practices.
Skills and Attributes
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage several projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
· Leadership capabilities to inspire and guide teams towards successful project delivery.
· Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.

· Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to adapt to dynamic challenges.
