**About the Role**:
Our client, Foodbank, is seeking an Asset and Infrastructure Manager to be responsible for the overall management of Foodbank WA's facilities, assets, and buildings. This role ensures that assets (including Fleet and Materials Handling Equipment (FMH) are fit for purpose, well maintained, and procured appropriately in accordance with policies and procedures. Working closely with the Senior Manager Infrastructure and Logistics, the role will contribute to Foodbank WA's geographical footprint through supporting lease management and building maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
- Coach and provide guidance to others on asset maintenance and will act as a source of advice for procurement and purchasing.
- Coordinating and managing work of contractors engaged for scheduled asset and building maintenance.
- Administration and maintenance of an Asset Management System for all of Foodbank WA ensuring a calendar of scheduled maintenance is maintained.
- Conducting, analyses and reports on asset management cycle, so Foodbank WA is informed of impact, timescales for asset replacement, and maintenance schedule.
- Building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contractors and providers to drive strategic outcomes.
- Ensuring that Foodbank WA's has the appropriate infrastructure and assets in place, both now and into the future, to achieve its strategic goals.
- Completing small ad hoc maintenance tasks that are easily resolved without the need for third party contractors.
- Coordinating maintenance schedules with Leaders, ensuring downtime is minimised and unscheduled disruption to operations is avoided.
- Ensuring cost efficiency of all infrastructure procurement decisions through following appropriate processes to consider alternatives to expenditure and through due diligence.
**Job Requirements**:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following:
- At least five years' experience in a similar role, reflecting strong strategic and operational skills.
- Sound knowledge of supply chain management including procurement, facilities management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and transport.
- Excellent track record in infrastructure management - with confidence in negotiating outcomes.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and liaise with a range of diverse individuals and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain meaningful partnerships aligned with organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated flexible, energetic, and self-motivated approach to achieving goals and timelines.
**Desirable**
- Qualification in procurement, logistics or business management.
- Experience working in a busy and high-pressured environment.
- Sound financial acumen.
**Other Requirements**
- Be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident with valid Australian work rights
- Current and valid WA driver's license.
- National Police clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
- Covid vaccinated and be willing to obtain a medical assessment of current health
