Perth Recruitment Services are urgently seeking a Customer Service Officer for our client, a Local Council in the Eastern Suburbs. This role is a 6 month temporary position (with the possibility of extension) working Monday - Friday, up to 38 hours a week.
To be considered for this position:
Previous front-line experience.
Solid administration skills.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
Proven time management skills.
Follow and understand all OH&S; procedures.
Police clearance (dated within the last 12 months)
Previous Local Government experience (desirable)
Your duties will include
Answering all enquires via telephone or over the counter.
Reading all reports and documents provided for the public by the Council.
Liaising with all representatives of the Council.
Operating the switchboard.
Update and maintain all databases.
Comply with the City's Equal Prospect, Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying Policies at all times.
Salary: $40.00 per hour
