JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Are you a hospitality pro with a passion for craft beer and community? We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our two vibrant brewery venues on the NSW South Coast. If you love leading teams, creating exceptional guest experiences, and being part of a fun and welcoming company, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As our Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring both venues are running smoothly, efficiently, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of service. You’ll work closely with our Venue Managers, guiding and supporting them in all aspects of the business, from bar and restaurant operations to events and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of two craft brewery venues
* Support and manage Venue Managers to ensure high-quality service and smooth operations
* Monitor budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability
* Develop and implement community outreach and sponsorship programs
* Plan and execute in-venue events to enhance customer experience
* Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a strong team culture
* Travel between both venues regularly (NSW South Coast)
* Work on the floor a few days a week to stay connected with staff and customers
* Weekend work required, with flexible hours outside of weekends
About You:
* Multiple years of experience managing bars, restaurants, or hospitality venues
* Passionate about craft beer, food, and creating a welcoming environment for locals and visitors alike
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on management style
* Proven ability to manage budgets and improve venue performance
* Experience in event planning and community engagement
* A team player who can lead, mentor, and inspire staff
* Must hold a valid RSA and driver’s licence
