Findex currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our Advisor Support Practice in Launceston. This role will be responsible for the dealing with accounting, tax and advisory matters in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite opportunity based in our Launceston office. We are also open to considering part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
What will your typical week look like?
Prepare business advice, special purpose reports, and tax returns for various entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-wealth individuals.
Support business advisory projects such as budgets, cash flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, and virtual CFO roles.
Manage and supervise engagements from start to finish, including those involving multiple entities and structures, while maintaining documentation and compliance standards.
Assist in client portfolio management, staff training, general bookkeeping, liaising with the ATO, and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to technical standards.

You are someone with.....
Experience in public practice, supported by a relevant accounting degree and ideally working towards or holding a CA / CPA qualification.
Strong technical accounting, analytical, and Excel skills, with hands-on experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and MYOB.
Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and the ability to effectively prioritise workload in a dynamic environment.
A team player with a genuine enthusiasm to contribute, build positive relationships, and engage with both clients and stakeholders.
