The Site Personnel Control - Transmission Lines provides on‑site, end‑to‑end recruitment and HR support for the Transmission Lines workforce based at the Merotherie project site.

This role partners closely with site leadership, white‑collar personnel, blue‑collar field teams, and overseas workers to deliver efficient, timely, and compliant HR, recruitment and site services throughout the full employment lifecycle.

The position acts as the primary on‑site HR touchpoint, ensuring seamless mobilisation, onboarding, logistics coordination, training support, and daily HR operations for all Transmission Lines employees.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver the full end to end recruitment process for specific Transmission Lines roles (white collar and blue collar) using job boards, social platforms, industry networks, and internal mobility channels.
* Coordinate pre employment checks, references, right to work validation, and all required approvals.
* Manage international and interstate mobilisations, including travel preparation, documentation support, and site arrival arrangements for overseas workers.
* Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, providing coaching and guidance on recruitment processes and workforce planning.
* Act as the first point of contact for HR matters for all Transmission Lines personnel on site.
* Support employees and supervisors with policy guidance, issue resolution, and general HR and site queries.
* Manage the complete onboarding process for new local, interstate, and overseas workers.
* Coordinate site inductions, safety briefings, mandatory compliance training, and access requirements.
* Ensure all documentation, HR files, and systems are updated accurately and in compliance with legislation and company standards.
* Provide tailored support for field crews, including daily HR assistance, mobilisation troubleshooting, welfare check‑ins, roster coordination, and site accommodation requirements.
* Assist overseas employees with local orientation, documentation, settlement needs, and cultural integration to ensure a positive project experience.
* Track tickets, licenses, certifications, and ensure workforce compliance is maintained.
* Support organisational development initiatives and site‑specific training programs.
* Assist with mobilisation logistics, transport scheduling, accommodation tracking, and site access coordination.
* Support demobilisation, terminations, and redundancy processes when required.
* Manage files, forms, records, and HR systems to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
* Provide support for site HR initiatives, events, and communications.
* Provide administrative assistance to the management team, and other employees as required.
* Supporting the Construction Team in cost tracking, production tracking and dockets management through the use of excel and ACEREZ D&C’s proposed cost control system.
* Provide general administrative assistance to the broader construction team.
* Professional/positive interface with both members of the public and internal stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety, and Environmental processes, practices, and procedures.
* Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced site environment with resilience and a solutions‑focused mindset.
* Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a high level of service in all interactions.

Required Skills and Competencies

* Bachelor’s degree, or tertiary qualification in Business or Human Resources, or similar.
* Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in large project based or complex / fast paced business environment in a similar role delivering contemporary Recruitment & HR services and practices (must have experience in a medium-to-large sized business, with construction engineering experience highly desirable).
* General knowledge of relevant legislation, employment laws and current Human Resource best practices.
* Experience supporting blue‑collar and mobile workforces, including FIFO/DIDO and overseas employees.
* Demonstrated experience in managing challenging stakeholders, juggling competing priorities and driving efficient and timely delivery of HR Services.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, solutions driven and customer focused mindset.
* Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities, setting own priorities within time constraints, and managing conflicting demands.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with various departments and foster teamwork.
* Demonstrated ability to influence & engage, negotiate, persuade and motivate others.
* Able to maintain the highly confidential nature of Human Resource work.
