Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse ",{styles}{ul}{li}We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team in Albany, Western Australia. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support services to ensure the delivery of an exceptional patient experience.{/li}{li}Key responsibilities include:}{ul}{li}>{style=font-weight:bold;}Providing excellent patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met;{/style}{/li}{li>} Interacting with patients and undertaking education, wound management, and drug administration;{/li}{li>} Effectively managing nursing patient load;{/li}{li>} Facilitating effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff;{/li}{li>} Providing patient feedback to the doctors and radiation therapy staff;{/li}{li>} Ensuring all patient episodes of care or interventions are documented, communicated, and actioned;{/li}{li>} Monitoring and maintaining procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice nursing standards;{/li}{li>} Ensuring medication management protocols are followed;{/li}{li>} Establishing communication for allied health services using ISBAR communication tool to all allied health services along with supported documented evidence;{/li}{li>} Complying with patient handover procedures as per ISBAR communication tool;{/li}{li>} Supporting the clinical introduction of new medications/drugs and nursing products by demonstrating knowledge and application in the patient care setting;{/li}{/ul}{p>Requirements:{ul}{li>} Current AHPRA registration;{/li}{li>} Experience in radiation oncology is preferred but not essential as we will provide training as needed for the successful candidate;{/li}{li>} Clinical experience as a nurse with demonstrated understanding of oncology and the ability to liaise with allied health care;{/li}{li>} Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients;{/li}{li>} Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills;{/li}{li>} Commitment to the application of quality improvement and best practice principles, including the NSQHS;{/li}{li>} Strong commitment to quality patient care;{/li}{li>} Commitment to or evidence of continuing your professional development;{/li}{li>} Wound care management experience;{/li}{li>} Ability to use electronic clinical administration systems, as well as MS Office;{/li}{/ul} Benefits: {ul}{li>} Monday to Friday role with stable hours – no weekend work;{/li}{li>} Internal and external training and development opportunities;{/li}{li>} Rewarding role with passionate colleagues and unique patient group;{/li}{li>} Close knit internal community;{/li}{li>} A chance to innovate and challenge the norm;{/li}{li>} Coastal town with beautiful surrounding beaches;{/li}{/ul} About Us: {ul}{li>} We are a highly progressive and passionate team of healthcare professionals and support staff, united by a common purpose: to design care experiences that deliver the best possible life outcomes;{/li}{li>} Join us to design better care and enjoy a career with purpose;{/li}{/ul>},{/styles}},
