About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Multi-Instrumental Music Teacher to join our growing team in a long-term, permanent role.
The successful applicant will be proficient in piano, brass, woodwind and strings at or above AMEB Grade 6 standard, and experienced in:
* One-on-one tuition
* Group and ensemble teaching
* School-based lesson planning
* Community engagement programs
You will also be confident using modern tools and systems, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and MuseScore, and have experience writing programs for bands, choirs, youth orchestras and music camps, including preparation for competitions and performances.
Availability required:
Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 9:00pm

* Committed to continual growth as both a teacher and musician
* In possession of a current Working With Vulnerable People Card
* Holder of a completed music qualification

Key Responsibilities
(Training provided)
* Deliver engaging individual lessons in piano, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone and violin
* Design tailored lesson plans and effective practice strategies
* Build strong, encouraging teacher–student relationships
* Support students to progress confidently at an appropriate pace
* Respond to challenges with maturity and professionalism
* Contribute to youth music initiatives, including grant proposals and project planning
* Follow established systems for curriculum delivery, materials, rewards and conduct
