Drive Growth for an Australian Automotive Brand on a National Expansion Path
MRT is entering an exciting phase of national growth and is seeking high-performing Business Development Managers to accelerate expansion across trade, fleet, retail and aftermarket channels.
This role is ideal for commercially astute sales professionals with experience in the automotive aftermarket, 4WD accessories, trade vehicles or fleet solutions, who are motivated by building long-term partnerships and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within your region through new business acquisition, strategic account management and market development.
This is a hands-on, externally focused role, critical to expanding MRT's market presence and strengthening relationships with key customers, distributors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within your region
* Grow and manage a portfolio of key trade, fleet and retail customers
* Develop and execute business development strategies aligned to national objectives
* Build trusted relationships with distributors, dealers and commercial partners
* Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms to maximise profitability
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
About You
* Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within 4WD accessories, trade or fleet vehicle solutions
* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* A relationship-driven, commercially disciplined sales approach
* CRM / ERP proficiency with strong reporting and pipeline management
* A strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
* High levels of motivation, accountability and target focus
