About this role
This role is for a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to serving the community by responding to emergency incidents. As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be part of a team that works together to protect people and property across Queensland.
Key accountabilities include:
* Responding to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner.
* Promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
* Developing and maintaining competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses provided by the QFES.
* Maintaining required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of your work aligning to organisational objectives and be able to respond flexibly to change.
