Job Title:
Operating Theatre Staff
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our operating theatre team. As a key member of our perioperative services department, you will be responsible for facilitating the surgeon within the theatre setting, supporting and collaborating with the theatre team to provide excellent patient-centered care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Facilitating the surgeon within the theatre setting
* Supporting and collaborating with the theatre team
* Preparation of the operating theatre and preparing patients for surgery
* Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital perioperative setting
* At least 2 years' recent Scrub/Scout experience
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential
* Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
* A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
