About The Position
You will be part of a dynamic team of allied health professionals providing therapy to customers with diverse diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability. You will deliver services in schools, clinics, homes, and community settings. Full or part-time positions are available, and experienced Grade 1 and 2's are encouraged to apply.
In this role you will:
* Work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools across Barwon, delivering services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments.
* Deliver goal-directed therapy to children and young people experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties in the Barwon clinic, homes, schools, and online.
* Undertake communication assessments and interventions.
* Provide evidence-based interventions and services that build on customer strengths and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
* Emphasise parent, teacher, and carer education to foster change.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, providing holistic customer care.
* Work within various funding models, including NDIS and school-based funding.
