The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer Team Lead, you will:
* Plan, estimate, track, and report on project tasks, leading the day-to-day operations of the software team
* Create and document product architecture, software designs, and source code to corporate standards
* Design, implement, and test software for lighting control systems using embedded C/C++
* Lead and mentor a skilled engineering team, fostering growth and quality output Drive product innovation by researching and applying new and existing technologies
* Shape the future of spectacular installations, galleries, and events globally
* Act as a positive role model and guide team members, resolving escalated difficulties and performance matters
Qualifications:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in software or electronic engineering or other equivalent experience
Skills and experience:
* At least 7 years demonstrable industry experience working in embedded systems with C/C++, experience with RTOS, Python and web APIs would be advantageous
* Passionate about driving continuous improvement in both technology and team processes
* Able to take personal responsibility and achieve results with little need for supervision
