We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our HR team in Newcastle, NSW on a permanent full-time basis.
This opportunity focuses on supporting our talent pipeline programs, specifically on Apprenticeship and Summer Vacation Programs across New South Wales and Queensland.
The role will involve travel to operational regions to conduct bulk interviews and ensure the ongoing success of these programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the successful delivery of recruitment projects for Apprenticeship and Vacation Programs from inception to completion.
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including interview scheduling conducting interviews and performing reference checks.
* Oversee basic HR functions including onboarding contract preparation and maintaining HR records.
* Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns HR documentation and broader HR activities as required.
* Oversee and manage correspondence by monitoring talent inboxes.
* Assist with general recruitment activities as needed.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and enhance talent programs.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in recruitment talent acquisition or HR operations.
* Demonstrated expertise in onboarding contract preparation and maintaining HR records.
* HR qualifications or a degree in Business Psychology or equivalent experience are highly regarded.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and candidates.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* A proactive can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
* A current Australian driver's licence is required.
