Be the heart of our clinic: We are seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join and support our growing team.
About the role
Due to further growth, we're seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you'll play a vital part in ensuring a positive experience for all who visit us.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
* Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries.
* Handling patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
* Maintaining and updating patient records in our system.
* Process billings and payment transactions.
* Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
* Coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
* Providing administrative support as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
* Strong attention to detail.
* A willingness to work across our multiple locations.
* Proficiency in using medical software and technology, or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and providing exceptional patient care.

This position is Casual, with a potential to transition to a Permanent role in the future for the right candidate.
Our staffing hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 6.00pm, a 4 week roster is provided 3 weeks in advance.
