The Role: Elevate the Experience
We\'re looking for an exceptional, energetic Kitchen Manager to lead the day-to-day running of Paperbark Burger Co. (home of the smash patty). This role suits someone who is passionate about quality produce, thrives on customer interaction and can confidently manage a fast-paced operation—delivering great service, smooth systems and consistently top burgers.
Full Time - Kitchen Manager (Chef) - Paperbark Burger Co.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and lead the team in the day-to-day operation.
* Dish Preparation: Oversee prep and service to ensure every burger, side and sauce is consistent and meets customer satisfaction.
* Venue Standards: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and organisation.
* Team Mentoring: Support training and mentoring of Junior staff, both BOH and FOH, helping build a positive team culture.
What You'll Bring to the Team
* Experience: Proven management experience in a busy kitchen, ideally a burger shop/bar, fast food outlet or busy pub venue with both BOH and FOH experience, and knowledge of POS systems.
* Attributes: An experienced chef who can work well under pressure, is hands-on and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive leader mindset and a \'can do\' attitude.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate.
* Cert III/ IV in Cooking/ Trade Certificate (Desirable, Not Required).
* Chemform Training Certificate.
* A willingness to work weekends and mid-morning/evening shifts.
