You'll be at the heart of our client's operations, supporting their workshop and procurement teams and making a real impact in a fast-paced sector. This is initially a casual position with the opportunity to transition to permanent for the right candidate!Your Mission:Become the go-to person for communication with suppliers, customers, and your internal crew, ensuring the right parts get where they need to be.
Take charge of setting up and organising our client's workshop stores, specifically for mining equipment and parts, for maximum efficiency.
Design and implement smart part numbering and storage systems to keep everything in its place.
Keep a tight grip on inventory through regular counts using the inventory management system, ensuring the workshop has what it needs to keep the mines running.
Master the art of receiving and dispatching goods, from purchase orders to inventory management system updates, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Conduct daily checks to keep things moving smoothly in the delivery/dispatch area.
Tackle any quality issues head-on, coordinating returns and replacements with suppliers to minimise downtime.
Pick parts like a pro, ensuring timely delivery to where they're needed, whether it's for scheduled maintenance or urgent repairs.
Optimise warehouse space by adjusting material storage locations, making room for large and specialised mining components.
Guarantee quality by inspecting materials before they head back to the warehouse.
Coordinate transport logistics and showcase your forklift skills, moving everything from small parts to bulky equipment.
Jump into other tasks as needed – variety is the spice of life!

The Essentials:Casual position with the potential for permanent placement.
Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime may be available.
Location: Lake Macquarie Area
Pay Range: $31.23 - $40 per hour (depending on your experience – let's talk!)
