Job Title: Mechanical Reliability Engineer
This is a challenging opportunity to join WorkPac as a Mechanical Reliability Engineer based on site in the Pilbara.
About the Role:
* Provide crucial input towards a high achieving Fixed Plant Maintenance team.
* Conduct daily safety activities and discussions to promote achievement of personal and team safety goals.
* Analyze key reliability data to identify and implement optimisation/improvements to constantly improve plant reliability.
* Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations on breakdowns to eliminate defects.
* Manage wear material performance and optimisation across transfer chutes, screenhouse building and vibrating equipment.
* Coach and participate in high value improvement projects.
* Manage the lifecycle of equipment by ensuring the effectiveness of strategies including offsite repairs.
* Offer day-to-day support to maintenance execution on technical queries relating to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with stakeholders to understand and address maintenance needs.
* Analyse equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex maintenance issues.
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to maintenance activities.
* Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve maintenance efficiency.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in supporting small projects.
* Familiarity with SAP and other maintenance management systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills with Reliability Engineering concepts and experience using tools like FMEA, RCA, or similar.
* Substantial working experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in Mining or Oil and Gas industry.
* Experience in Work Management and Material Master Data Management particularly in the SAP environment.
* Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and WA Mines Regulations.
* Ability to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in Safety.
