The Opportunity: Senior Merchandise Planner Full-Time | Support Centre, Noble Park We are looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Senior Planner to join our Merchandise team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our buying strategy and delivering sales, margin, and inventory targets across our product categories. Working closely with Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance, you’ll provide analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end planning cycle, helping to optimise stock levels, maximise return on investment, and ensure our customers have access to the right products at the right time. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. What You’ll Be Doing Providing analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting to support category and buying strategies Managing the end-to-end merchandise planning cycle, including inventory planning and replenishment Monitoring sales, margin, and stock performance to ensure targets are achieved Analysing promotional performance and preparing post-campaign reviews Conducting SKU-level analysis, range reviews, and assortment planning Managing aged, slow-moving, and excess inventory Partnering with Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance to support strategic decision-making Presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders What We’re Looking For Previous merchandise planning experience within a large-format or high-volume retail environment Strong financial acumen and understanding of key commercial drivers Advanced forecasting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail Experience in inventory management, open-to-buy, and replenishment planning Confidence working with large and complex data sets Strong planning, prioritisation, and decision-making skills A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships Advanced Excel skills; experience with merchandise planning systems is highly regarded What you’ll get in return: 12 weeks paid parental leave for all eligible employees Competitive remuneration packages Work with market-leading and globally recognised brands.
