What you’ll be doing
The SCHN Redevelopment project team is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement and change management related to a $1.3 billion capital investment from NSW Government in two major projects focused on the redevelopment of the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. The SCHN redevelopment team works closely with its project partners, led by NSW Health Infrastructure, and facilitates engagement with staff at two sites (Westmead and Randwick), precinct partners and consumers and community more broadly.
The SCHN Redevelopment Project Coordinator will assume a coordinating and support role as part of the SCHN Redevelopment Team. They will support the SCHN Redevelopment Program Director in the facilitation of stakeholder engagement and alignment of activities to the projects program to ensure deliverables are achieved.
The Project Coordinator is expected to work in a self‑directed capacity and use initiative and flexibility to adapt and manage the day to day requirements. The role will work closely with all members of the Redevelopment team in a positive and collaborative environment.
The role will be directly involved in the coordination of disruption management and work alongside the Redevelopment team and key stakeholders to minimise planned construction related disruptions to the Hospital, taking an active role in coordinating activities related to construction delivery and monitoring/reporting on impacts to stakeholders.
The role will also assist in the facilitation of identified change management programs and the associated process, to ensure delivery and sustainable outcomes achieved, as well as assist in achieving the delivery phase inclusive of commissioning, decanting and the go‑live operational process.
