Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
* Perform installation, maintenance, commissioning, and modification of complex machinery driven by hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
* Supervise apprentices or staff assisting other mechanics across the area when required.
* Progress within the Mechanical Tradesperson Grade 1-3 structure upon demonstrating required skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ambitious, collaborative, and qualified mechanical tradesperson who enjoys working autonomously.
* Good problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills, proactive in dealing with customer complaints.
* Strong focus on safety, able to identify, communicate and report environmental hazards and understand quality requirements.
Benefits:
* A competitive salary package including $73,000 - $113,400 per annum plus superannuation and allowances dependent on qualifications & experience.

Essential Requirements:
* Automotive Vehicle Mechanic qualification with high exposure and experience on heavy vehicles and plant.
* Current Construction Industry White Card and an unrestricted NSW motor-vehicle driver's licence (Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid licence viewed favourably).
* Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements.
* Experience in welding and metal fabrication highly desirable.
* Residence within a reasonable distance from your identified headquarters/depot.
