About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Manager to join a team on a permanent, full‑time basis. In this hands‑on role, you will ensure that operational and regulatory obligations are met across key areas including WHS, risk and compliance, Finance, HR, IT, Transport, Insurance, and WWCC compliance.
Working closely with NSW school teams and central support for multiple campus' across NSW, you will play a key role in supporting effective governance and compliance practices, contributing to a culture of transparency, accountability, and alignment with organisational and state‑level compliance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of operational and regulatory compliance across NSW schools.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to meet statutory and organisational requirements.
* Monitor WHS, risk, insurance, HR, IT, and other compliance obligations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of governance processes and practices.
* Collaborate with school teams and central support to ensure alignment with compliance policies.
* Provide timely communication and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding compliance requirements.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide general administrative support to the compliance team as required.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance, highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write, interpret, and present data clearly.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
* Experience in NSW schools and database management (e.g., Sentral, Donesafe) is desirable.
* WHS Certificate IV or auditing certification is advantageous.
